Toast to Tea Tuesday!!!

Mmmmm...
Over the past few weeks since I started school once more for second semester, I have really been getting into   tea.  I drink it to calm myself down, whenever I'm thirsty, or sometimes just because I feel more at ease when sipping a cup of steaming hot tea.

So anyway, I decided to make this a part of my weekly routine by adding a "Tea Tuesday."  That's right, not only do I get to wear a hoodie on Fridays (click here to read about Hoodie Friday), but now I get to sip on some tea every Tuesday morning.

Here's to Tea Tuesday, everyone!  Drink up!

Extra NOTW!

As I was flipping through my photos on my iPod, I stumbled across this nail art design from my first week of school way back in August. I really liked this design but I guess I just didn't bother posting the final result.

I just did the diagonal stripes on the thumb and ring fingers, leaving the other three fingers a solid coraly-orange colors. For this design I used Finger Paints-Drawn to this Shade and silver and white stripers. The color is more coral pink, I have a good photo of just a plain manicure on an earlier post "Nails of the Week-Coral!!!"

Gilmore Girls is Living Proof

NOTE: I started this post way back in August 2011 and I don't fully remember where I was going with it at first, but this is what the final looks like.

Even though Gilmore Girls seventh season ended in 2007, I still can't get over the fact that Jess and Rory did not end up together.

First things first, go ahead and peg me for one of those sappy girls who always wants the bad boy and good girl to end up together.  One of those people who watches those comedic dramas and starts living their life based on what they see on t.v.  I have no problem with that.  To you all I say: "Gilmore Girls was a fantastic show, and in the case of this post, a learning experience for all future actors/actresses that find themselves in the same positions."

Even if you weren't a Jess/Rory fan, you could almost predict that they were going to end up together.  But they didn't.  Why not?  Because Jess and Rory dated for real.  By Jess and Rory I mean Alexis Bledel and Milo Ventimiglia, the characters who played them.  They dated in real life, and then someone's heart got broken and so the producers couldn't write their characters happy endings the way they should have been written because the actor and actress did not want to be in that situation after their breakup.

So for all those couples out there who are on the same show and are dating in real life ... 1) think about where you think your relationship will go 2) if the writers would even contemplate the two of you ending up together and 3) "wwft" what would fans think?

While writing this, I thought about Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder's ongoing relationship.  If you all don't know about this or haven't seen The Vampire Diaries, I would probably stop reading.  But for those of you who know what I'm talking about, I'm not sure what to think about this relationship.  I love the couple in real life (they both are really beautiful), but on the show, I'm not certain if I want Damon and Elena to be together or if Elena should end up with Stefan.  Just please take precautions.

If The Vamp Diaries is anything like Gilmore Girls (which it really isn't) then Damon would be kicked off the show, and Elena would end up with nobody.

Personally, I hope it does not follow after Gilmore Girls, and I'm sure most other Vamp fans would agree with me on that one.

Happy HOODIE FRIDAY!!!

For all of you all that don't know, today is HOODIE FRIDAY!!!

At first I was a little "nerviosa" about wearing a hoodie in this new year.  I don't know how the weather is in other cities/states, but the weather in St. Louis is drop down crazy!  It's been pretty warm for the past week, except yesterday and today where it snowed and iced.  So I was eventually very giddy when I woke up this Friday morning and realized that it is HOODIE FRIDAY!!!

Some of you may be asking, "Oh, is this something she does at her school?" Has this been a global phenomena that I missed on the news last week?"  The answer is no.  I have simply just created this celebration for two reasons:

  1. I like wearing hoodies
  2. So much so that I manage to cram three or four into one school week
  3. Now I have something to look forward to in addition to Friday
and an extra reason:

     4.  HOODIE FRIDAY!!! is awesome

The best part about HOODIE FRIDAY!!! is that people participate in it even when don't they are participating in it.  I bet some of you just realized that you are wearing a hoodie on HOODIE FRIDAY!!!

So, if the weather is still bipolar in your area, don't be afraid to throw on hoodie next Friday, I know I will be wearing one.  Because ... it's HOODIE FRIDAY!!!

Tell everyone you know, so we can all know together.

Five Months Later...

Alright guys, I am so sorry I have been gone for about half a year.  I think once school started I just could not keep my mind straight on what I was trying to do.  Physics itself was just....well, I'll save that for another blog post.

Anyway, I'm just here to tell you that I will be back.  This year I want to focus more on time management versus just giving up on things because I don't have enough time for them.

So with that being said...if you have any ideas on any posts you would like to see, I am open for suggestions.  If you like what I've been doing, I'll just keep continuing on with my previous "series" posts.  It may be a new year, but that doesn't mean that everything has to start anew.
